Tournament guidelines.
1. All players to report on time for games.
2. Five rounds are conducted. Each player to play all five rounds. 5-10 minute break will be there between each round.
3. Pairings and Tournament winners are decided based on Chess Manager program. Typically winners get paried against winners and loosers with loosers.
4. LiChess app in phone to be used as clock for time control. Time control is 10 min for each and no increment for each move.
5. If a players uses all his alloted time before the opponent, he is considered lost even though he is in winning position.
6. If player makes three illegal moves (for eg: moving another piece when king is in check), then he/she is considered as lost in that round.
7. Touch peice rule is enforced in the games. Touch piece rule means, if player touches any of his/her piece, he must move that piece only. If player touches opponent piece, then they must take that peice, if permitted.
